The Strokin' Dixie Band was formed in 1986, and
has performed consistantly thru out the years.
Original members include Dale Boswell on
Guitar and Bruce Wood on Bass. Phillip Quinn,
Lead Guitar. Charlie Davidson plays Steel
Guitar, and Jimmy Bryan on Drums!
Silent Bob is in charge of stage,
security, and merchandise. Strokin' Dixie is a
variety band playing a mix of Country, both New &
Traditional....Southern Rock...Blues... Golden
Oldies...and Original songs written by the band.
The Strokin' Dixie Band is one of the hardest
working bands in the south, playing all venues
from Night Clubs to Company Events, to sharing
the Concert Stage with such artists as Travis
Tritt, Marty Stuart, Charlie Daniels, The Kentucky
Headhunters, and Jeff Bates, just to name a few!
Even with such a prestegious hobby, Strokin' Dixie
 has mantained a well - balanced, down to earth
attitude which prevails both on and off the stage.
This along with a group of seasoned professional
"pickers" make Strokin' Dixie one of the most
entertaining bands in the country!

This was our 2nd promo photo, which
included...Dale, Bruce, Philip, and a new
drummer, Red Sanks. The illustration was used

all the comforts of home,
gets Strokin' Dixie to the
next show!
