The Ernest Tubb
Midnight Jamboree!
For as long as I can remember, I have
loved Country Music. A radio, and a
guitar were my constant companions.
I started playing guitar at, or about the
age of twelve. My grandfather, C.T.
Russell, taught me a few chords and
songs. His son, my Uncle Steve Russell,
shared his talent with me also. From the first time I
heard Merle Haggard, I knew my destiny. I wanted to
be a star! I would listen to The Grand 'Ole Opry, and
Ernest Tubbs Midnight Jamboree. My dream, one day
to perform on those stages. On October 18th, 2008,
with the help of my friend, the great Razzy Bailey, and
the support of my friends, my wife Robin, and family...
One of those dreams came true.
Thank you all, Dale.
